8 Days Uganda Primates tour takes you to Uganda’prime National parks. Bwindi National Park for Mountain gorilla tracking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives / game viewing and Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking,bird watching and nature walks in Bigodi community swamp. Queen Elizabeth NP, offers you a game drive along the savannah, boat trip along the Kazinga channel for massive water animal viewing and chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. Bwindi NP offers you Gorilla tracking and cultural experience of the Batwaa community.

Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our company guide who will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay at cassia lodge, Grand Imperial.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast at your hotel, drive towards Fort portal via Mubende to the rolling hills of Kibale. The journey will provide you with good sceneries of lush, farms and homesteads as you head to the park. You will have a lunch break enroute and reach Kibale NP in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Tour
Early morning after breakfast, go for chimpanzee tracking in the forest. The search for chimps will also provide you with an opportunity to see other primates, for instance, the Bush babies, colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, pottos and many more. You will then have lunch and proceed to Bigodi swamp in the afternoon to look out for stunning flora and fauna.Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast enjoy a 3 hours scenic drive east of Rwenzori Mountains reaching Mweya in time for your lunch, proceeding for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel – a sanctuary of different bird species, about 80% of the wildlife in Queen Elizabeth national park can be found along this Channel. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge or similar other

Day 5: Game drive – Kyambura Gorge Chimps Tracking
After early morning breakfast, head out for a game drive towards the Kasenyi track. Lions and other predators are spotted feasting on the big herds of different antelope species. In the afternoon, a chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge or a forest walk in the Maramagambo forest to the Python Cave can be arranged for you. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge or similar other

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
You will head to Bwindi Impenetrable NP through the Ishasha sector where you will see a variety of wild animals such as tree-climbing lions, Uganda Kob, Topi, elephants and many more. You will reach late in the afternoon and go aboard on a walk in the neighboring community if interested. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 7: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
After a morning breakfast go for gorilla trekking in the forest. First you will have a briefing at the park headquarters before the actual gorilla tracking activity. You will start the tracking at 9:00 am as you penetrate the thick forest in search of this endangered gorilla species – the mountain gorilla. The time taken to find these apes will depend on their movement, however the estimates of the time taken is 2-9 hours. The activity is wearying but the satisfaction derived from viewing these animals play, feed and interact will mark the highlight of your visit. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 8: Drive Back to Kampala & Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala with lunch enroute and reach in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel/ Serena Hotel.
