TRADING TERMS & CONDITIONS

CONTRACTING PARTIES

These are legally binding terms and conditions between Africa Adventure Safaris and our clients. The conditions are to ensure smooth running of the operations for the benefit of our clients as well as the company.

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
Coming to a confirmation to a quotation from Africa Adventure Safaris constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which take effect immediately for both parties.By the time a clint confirms with us, we believe that he/she has read and agreed with all our reservation terms and conditions. All travelers are therefore reminded to read carefully and understand to avoid any misunderstanding.

REGISTRATION
Upon acceptance of quotation and confirming to take a safari with Africa Adventure Safaris, we require you to pay 30% of the total tour cost to book and secure safari gorilla permits.

During the peak season running from July to October a deposit of 40% of the total tour cost is required from the traveler so as to secure and reserve the gorilla trekking permits.

PAYMENT METHOD
To make payments, contact our safari consultants for direction of which method of payment you should use.

CANCELLATION
All safari cancellations must be received in writing.
Cancellations received between the date of booking and 60 days prior to arrival will result in the loss of the deposit.

Before 60 days to safari – full refund of paid funds

Cancellations received 59 – 31 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge of 70% of the tour price.

Cancellations received 30 – 15 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge of 30% of the tour price.

Cancellations received 15 – 0 days prior to arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge of 100% of the tour price.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE ON REFUNDS
Refunds are not made for any missed services, except for verifiable extenuating circumstances. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of cancellation of safari. Any alterations considered will be based on the actual price of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals.

ACCOMMODATION
All accommodation, room type(s) and specification are as shown in the itinerary. Any adjustment should be done before confirmation of tour. Any changes during safari are liable to penalty.

MEALS
Meals are as shown in the itinerary but most of them especially ion lodges are bed, breakfast and dinners (Full board). All meals at the lodges are paid for except the alcoholic beverages a traveler may order in private.

TRANSFERS
Arrival and return transfers are provided on arrival and departure from airstrip to lodge/camp and only where specified in the itinerary.

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS BEFORE SAFARI
Please ensure that you consult your personal physician / doctor about anti malaria precautions and other inoculations and vaccinations before travel. Where applicable, please ensure that whilst traveling you carry a valid Yellow Fever certificate.
