3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour involving gorilla tracking & Golden monkeys (Cercopithecus Kandti), now listed by the IUCN as endangered because of their small numbers. This safari takes you to Volcanoes national park located in the north of Rwanda where about 300 mountain gorillas live. There are ten habituated gorilla families – each of the groups allows up to 8 participants per day

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes national park
On arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide who will take you for a city tour in Kigali and later transfer to Volcanoes National park with a remarkable sight of the Virunga volcanoes and many more other views. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge (Luxury)/ La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/ Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and nature walk
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters in order to be briefed by the park rangers about the does and don’ts while with the gorillas. This will be followed by the search of gorillas in the forest as this takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the forest. On your return, you will have a nature walk to the twin lakes. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge (Luxury)/ La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/ Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 3: Golden monkey tracking and Departure
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a golden monkey trekking and adventure. This rewards views of other primates such as the Olive baboon, Black and white colobous monkeys, Vervet monkeys among others. Later, you will embark on a transfer to Kigali in order to catch up with your departure flight.
